For the past 45 years we’ve built new homes in and around the city of Hull and we are unbelievably proud to see Hull be recognised on a national scale for being a great place to soak up culture.

We’ve known for a long time that Hull is a great place to live; it has such a rich history, vibrant social scene and plenty of activities to entertain the whole family.

Our two current Hull developments, The Village and The Westwood, are based at Kingswood Parks, which is a stone’s throw from some of the high street’s most loved shops, restaurants and leisure outlets. There is a cinema on the complex along with a David Lloyd Leisure Centre, bowling alley and an array of public houses and coffee shops to while away the hours.

Hull’s city centre is just a 10 minute drive away, and there you’ll find some must-see attractions. Aside from being able to do some serious retail therapy, The Museums Quarter is also worth a visit. Its home to Wilberforce House (the home of William Wilberforce), The Hull and East Riding Museum, Streetlife and the Arctic Corsair Trawler. These museums are the perfect place to get to grips with Hull’s history. Hull also has Ferens Art Gallery, the Maritime museum and the fish trail, providing great days out for the whole family.

The Deep is one of Hull’s most unique attractions and has really helped to put Hull on the tourism map. It is the world’s only submarium and is home to a whopping 3,500 fish, including spectacular sharks and rays together with Europe’s only pair of green sawfish!

2017 will see Hull host a variety of performances, concerts and activities to celebrate its UK City of Culture status. It will certainly be the place to enjoy some first class entertainment, which is why interest in visiting the city has risen by 30% since the City of Culture announcement was made.
