Waddington is a rural village in the North Kesteven district of Lincolnshire, and is just 4 miles to the south of Lincoln. Waddington is also home to the RAF base, RAF Waddington, which is an operational airfield and host to the annual International Airshow.

It is safe to say you will never be bored living in Waddington, with so many different activities and attractions a short distance away.

Lincoln has one of the finest cathedrals just few a steps away from the magnificent Lincoln Castle. For the young ones, the Sundown Adventure Land is specially designed for the under 10s, but it is a great day out for all the family.

Waddington is surrounded by beautiful gardens and nature reserves including, Hartsholme Country Park, Whisby Nature World & Nature Park and Bardney Limewoords National Nature Reserve. But if country houses and castles take your fancy, then you will be spoilt for choice with the Tattershall Castle, Belton House, The Workhouse Southwell and Grantham House all within 19 miles of Waddington.

The village has a varied selection of shops which are mainly located around the Bar Lane area in the upper part of the village and the Redwood Drive Shopping Centre in the lower part of the village. There are Chinese and Indian takeaways in both locations, as well as a fish and chip shop in the upper village, perfect for the nights when cooking is too much of a chore.

There are two primary schools within the parish of Waddington, All Saints Primary School and Redwood Primary, making it a great location for a young family to live.
